I love doing mathematics. As an ISC student I rarely come across difficult questions, so I regularly go beyond my syllabus and extend my knowledge using books such as Mathematical Circles and Higher Algebra by Hall and Knight. Using these books I took the IOQM — the Indian Olympiad Qualifier in Mathematics — and scored in the top 10% both nationwide and statewide.

I furthered my studies in calculus using Thomas' Calculus. It was a tremendously useful resource and helped me achieve a 4 in Advanced Placement (AP) Calculus BC.

I am extremely passionate about physics. I love reading articles about scientists pushing the frontiers and boundaries of what is possible. I try to push myself using amazing online resources from Walter Lewin and books like Resnick and Halliday and Kleppner and Kolenkow. Through striving and pushing myself I achieved a 5 in Advanced Placement (AP) Physics 1 and a 4 in AP Physics C: Mechanics.

I love to argue, and debating comes naturally to me. I love to discuss everything, although I especially love talking about current affairs and policy. To really understand current affairs, economics becomes essential. To improve my understanding of the subject and go above and beyond my syllabus, I took the Advanced Placement (AP) Microeconomics exam and got a 5.

To me, cooking is pure magic—a delicate balance of simple science and rich flavour. There is something incredible about how the simple caramelisation of raw sugars can unlock such complex, deep tastes. It's equal parts art and chemistry, simple yet beautifully intricate, and I honestly can't imagine life without it.

I love taking photos. I was the official photographer and videographer for my school for one year, during 2025–2026. Some of the photos I have taken are up on the school website — you may check them out!
